These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all services provided by Emma Budda Makeup. By booking services, clients agree to the following terms. For any questions, please contact me directly.
1. MAKEUP SERVICES
1.1 Services and Fees
Services
- Professional makeup for weddings (bride and bridal party), special occasions, and professional/editorial photoshoots.
- Makeup consultations and trials are available upon request.
Fees
- Consultations: £75 per person, plus travel. A consultation is required for the bride, and optional for other members of the bridal party (mothers, bridesmaids etc)
- Wedding Day: £100 Bride makeup only, £75 per additional wedding guest. This amount does not include travel or consultations.
- Maximum 7- 8 people can be accommodated per booking, depending on ceremony time. For larger bridal parties, an additional assistant may be required.
- Special Occasion and Editorial/Photoshoot:
- Occasion makeup prices start at £45 per person. Early hours fees, bank holiday, and Sunday fees apply
- Photoshoot makeup will be quoted on a case-by-case basis, depending on half day/ full day rates, travel costs, and number of models. If an assistant is required this will also include additional charges.
Payment
- Consultation fees are due in full upon booking to secure the wedding date.
- This fee covers admin, diary management, communication, preparation, and the reservation of your wedding date in my diary.
- As this fee is for services already delivered prior to the consultation, it is non-refundable in all circumstances.
- No further payment is required until you confirm your booking at the consultation.
- If you choose to secure your wedding booking after the consultation, a 50% non-refundable booking fee is required with 3 working days.
- This booking fee covers continued admin, schedule planning, product allocation, communication, and the commitment of your wedding date (which prevents other bookings being taken).
- As this payment represents a booking fee rather than a refundable deposit, it is retained in all circumstances and is not deductible from any future refund.
- The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date.
- Accepted payment methods and details will be discussed during the booking process.
- The payment information above also applies to Event/special occasion makeup bookings but the remaining balance is to be paid on the day of your appointment.
1.2 Expectations
Deadlines
- Consultation scheduling is flexible; midweek daytimes typically have greater availability, though some weekend and evening slots may be offered. Consultations can be arranged privately or as part of a group, at home or using the Glam Lounge salon.
- Any specific deadlines or date changes must be communicated as early as possible.
Client Requests
- Specific makeup styles or techniques should be discussed during the consultation or trial.
- Any additional requests (e.g., extra bridal party members, changes in schedule) should be made in writing whenever possible.
Allergies and Health Concerns
- Clients must inform me of any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to the makeup application.
- While all products used are high quality, I am not liable for any adverse reactions unless caused by negligence on my part.
1.3 Protection
Compensation
- The fees outlined above constitute compensation for all agreed-upon makeup services. Any extra services requested on the day may incur additional costs, subject to mutual agreement.
Changes
- Both parties may propose changes to the agreement (e.g., number of bridal party members, revised schedule), provided they are confirmed in writing.
- Substantial changes (e.g., drastically altering the booking date) will require a new agreement.
- Cancellations made within 3 months of the wedding date will require full payment. Postponements made within 30 days of the wedding date will also require full payment, unless a new date is secured and confirmed at the time of rescheduling.
- If a postponement is made and I am unavailable for the new date, the original booking will be treated as a cancellation. In this case, the full balance will remain payable if the change occurs within 3 months of the original wedding date.
- For all Event makeup appointments, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking time will require full payment, as the slot cannot usually be filled at short notice. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur additional charges, though any fees paid remain non-refundable. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and I will always approach genuine circumstances with fairness, but this policy ensures my time and travel commitments as a freelance artist are protected

Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution before seeking legal remedies.
- If legal action becomes necessary, proceedings will take place under the jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
1.4 Other Considerations
- Right to Refuse or Cancel: I reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a booking for any reasonable cause (e.g., late or non-payment, inappropriate conduct). If I cancel a booking, any fees paid (excluding non-refundable deposits if canceled due to client breach) will be refunded.
- Right to Amend Specifications: I may need to alter product selections or techniques if circumstances require (e.g., product shortages, unforeseen changes in schedule). Any such changes will be communicated promptly.
- Travel Expenses: All travel-related costs (e.g., mileage, parking fees) will be calculated based on the postcodes provided and time traveled to and from the house or venue, this is added to the final invoice, unless otherwise stated.
